Turning Off System Beeps
- Load Regedit.
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
- On the left hand side of the screen find Beep on the list.
- Right click on it and select Modify
- Change the value equal to no
- Reboot your computer
- The beeps will then vanish - if you wish them to return change the equal value back to yes.
